Where to Buy Rutgers NJAES Tomato Plants 2022

New Jersey Retailers, Rutgers Plant Sales, and Mail Order Selling Rutgers 250, Ramapo, Scarlet Sunrise, Moreton, KC-146 Tomato Plants

2022 Season

Some Rutgers Plant Sales will be held this year including a small sale at Ag Field Day (Rutgers Day), and a Rutgers Master Gardener plant sale and Rutgers Gardens will be conducting plant sales in May (see below).

Please note that few retailers notify us that they are selling Rutgers NJAES varieties, so this list is not all-inclusive. If you don’t see your local retailer listed – call and ask if they carry Rutgers 250, Ramapo or Scarlet Sunrise tomatoes. Small independent farm markets and garden centers are most likely to carry them, not chain stores.

Rutgers Gardens Spring Plant Sale 2022
By reserved tickets only (free, reserve by May 4): May 6th – 8th, 2022
10 a.m. – 4 p.m., Sunday
Spring Flower Fair – Rutgers Gardens
Will have Rutgers 250, Ramapo, Scarlet Sunrise, Moreton and KC-146 tomato plants

Rutgers Master Gardeners of Cumberland County
Plant sale held at Wheaton Arts in Millville on May 7, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
We will have Ramapo, KC-146, Rutgers 250, and Scarlet Sunrise. We will also have all of the Rutgers downy mildew resistant basil varieties.
Native flowers, trees, and shrubs will also be available – highlighting our local nurseries.

Will have ‘Rutgers 250, Ramapo and Scarlet Sunrise grape tomato plants in addition to perennials, annuals, herbs & vegetables. Soil test kits and blade sharpening will be available.
