Seed Availability for Home Gardeners:

Note: the 2020 order form is good until 1/31/21. The anticipated posting of the 2021 order form is early February, and at that time Moreton tomato seeds will not be available.

The Rediscover the Jersey Tomato program has seeds for ‘Rutgers 250’, ‘Ramapo’, ‘Moreton’ and ‘KC-146’ (Campbell’s-146) and the new release ‘Scarlet Sunrise‘ bicolor grape tomato and Jersey tomato T-shirts available. These items can be purchased with this form: 2020 Rutgers NJAES tomato seed and T-shirt order form 1-21 extension

  • Tomato seeds should be started indoors 6-8 weeks before the outdoor transplanting date (for ex., for Central NJ start indoors: late March/early April; transplant outside around mid-May).
