Fruit: the Great Tomato Tasting at the Snyder Research & Extension Farm will have many Rutgers varieties for tasting the last Wednesday in August.

Rutgers ScarletTM strawberry 
Fruit in season late May to late June

Plants: Great Swamp Greenhouses sells potted strawberry plants in Morris County, NJ. Nourse Farms sells dormant strawberry plants in March and April, both commercially and to home gardeners. Order online at Nourse Farms (noursefarms.com/product/rutgers_scarlet/).
Fruit: North: Alstede Farms (Chester), Wightman’s Farms (Morristown), Phillips Farms, LLC (Milford), and Bonacorsi Family Farm (Frenchtown)
Central: Giamarese Farm (East Brunswick), VonThun Farms (Monmouth Junction), Hauser Hill Farm (Old Bridge), Cedar Hill Farm A (Middletown), Indyks Farm (Monroe), and Terhune Orchards (Princeton)
South/Central: Hlubik Farms (Chesterfield) and Specca Farms (Bordentown)

Scarlet Fire® dogwood tree

Plants: Central: RareFind Nursery (Jackson) sells retail for home owners late August to early September, but you must call in advance to be added to their waiting list. Good Earth Nursery (Cream Ridge) sells both retail and wholesale during this time period, but quantities are limited, so make sure to call in advance if you are interested. Pleasant Run Nursery fills only wholesale orders for the nursery and landscape industry in August. Call your local nursery as soon as possible to be added to their waiting list.
Spring Hill Nursery (springhillnursery.com/product/scarlet-fire-dogwood/dogwood_trees) sells Scarlet Fire® by mail order. They should have a large inventory in the spring.

Vegetable: Rutgers has a semi-exclusive license with Edible Garden Corp, a family run hydroponic business selling Rutgers Scarlet LettuceTM under the brand name Superleaf. Spring mix is available year round, both living and cut. Check your local Kings, ShopRite, or Stop & Shop.
